How is my sign made?
Your sign is hand-crafted in our facility by seasoned glass artists. Your neon sign starts out as a straight tube of glass, which is heated by torches, and hand bent to match a pattern. Once the bending is complete, each sign is inspected for quality and accuracy before it is processed by our digitally enhanced processing system. After your sign is processed it is tested, inspected, mounted, and tested again. [Back to Top]
 
 
How long will my neon sign last?
Conservatively your sign should last 10-15 years. Many signs last for decades. [Back to Top]
 
 
Where can I place or hang my neon sign?
YOUR SIGN MUST BE PLACED INDOORS. Your sign may be hung or mounted anywhere indoors away from water. Many of our customers hang their neon signs in their front window. [Back to Top]
 
 
Does my sign come with hanging hardware?

What happens if my sign arrives broken? Can I repair it myself?
We make every effort to package our products to stringent quality control shipping methods to prevent glass breakage. If your newly purchased neon sign arrives with broken glass, please do not attempt to repair the sign yourself. Within 5 days of receiving your sign, please feel free to contact us either by phone or email. One of our customer service representatives will be glad to help you resolve the matter. What should I do if my sign stops working or does not work?
Please do not attempt to repair the sign yourself! Our warranty covers the power supply and processed neon tubes only. The warranty does not cover accidental breakage to the glass itself. Please contact us for further assistance. [Back to Top]

How do I clean my neon sign?
FIRST, UNPLUG YOUR SIGN. Use a dry towel or a duster and carefully clean the sign. Never use water, cleaning solvents, or cleaning sprays. [Back to Top]
 
 
To what locations or countries do you ship signs?
We only ship to the Continental United States. In other words, the lower 48. [Back to Top]
 
 
How long will it take to get my sign after I my order?
Your sign will take a few days to manufacture once your design is approved and your order is placed. We will forward you tracking information upon shipment. How do I obtain a Wholesale Price List?

Please send us an email request with complete contact information (name of company, contact name, address and phone) and we will forward a complete price list via US mail once we verify the information submitted. [Back to Top]

 
 
What brands of glass and electrodes do you use?

We use glass from Voltarc, Tecnolux, and Euro Products. NDS uses SVP electrodes exclusively. Additional brands will be considered upon request. [Back to Top]

 
 
Do you stock glass?
Yes, we normally have a large selection of neon glass tube in stock from 8-15mm diameters. [Back to Top]
 
 
Do you work Classic or Lead-Free glass?
We work standard American Glass, Lead-Free Glass, and Classic Glass. Our preference is lead-free. [Back to Top]
 
 
What gas mixes do you fill your processed tubes with?
NDS offers 100% Ne fill, and 25% Ar/75% Ne fill for Ar/Hg based tubes. We have the ability to adjust mix percentages per your requirements. [Back to Top]
 
 
What design software do you have in-house?

Can we just email you a pattern for a glass tube quote?
Yes. We accept email attachments containing file formats in PDF, AI, CDR, EPS, PLT, or Neon Wizard. We only accept full scale drawings. Once your vectorized file is reviewed, we will email your quote and estimated lead-times. [Back to Top]
 
 
Do you repair channel letter glass and/or borders or just replace units?
We do not repair neon tubes. All tubes are replaced unless otherwise specified. [Back to Top]

What are your average lead-times?
Lead-times are dependant on current production loads, material stocks, and the quantity and complexity of the glass ordered. Please contact us for the most current time tables. Normally we try to ship small orders within one week. [Back to Top]
